Introduction
Technology is becoming increasingly sophisticated, yet the designs of current consumer electronics remain rigid. Despite technological breakthroughs in pneumatic structures and flexible PCBs, structural components of most electronics continue to rely on brittle ABS plastic for housing, restricting portability, adaptability, and longevity.
The objective of this project explores the intersection between inflatable structures and electronics, allowing for seamless transportation, enhanced comfort, and reliable protection of your devices.
I’ve drawn inspiration from pneumatic structures and other cutting-edge technologies that redefine our relationships with industrialized materials. By integrating soft, flexible forms as a transformative medium, materials like TPU and silicone challenge the rigid conventions of our products.
